Celebrating over 35 Years in Business!

Reflecting on our 35th anniversary feels like watching a child grow — where did the time go? It all started with a cruise on the SS Norway on June 6, 1988, with dear friends Donna & Steve Young and Kit & Mike Mair. That unforgettable trip inspired us to start this journey together.

With Mimi’s retail background from the Jones Store and Mark’s wholesale experience with Armstrong Carpet and Sealy Mattress, we believed we had a solid foundation. We loved that cruise lines handled the inventory and collections — it just felt right.

We opened our first office on November 14, 1988, in a small 600 sq. ft. space in Gladstone, MO. We were blessed early on with team members who helped us grow. Mark joined full-time in 1991, and by 1995 we moved into our current location. A year later, Comfort Tours & Travel was born to help our clients with land vacations, too.

From 9/11 to the 2008 recession, we've faced challenges, but thanks to God's grace and a dedicated team, we’ve not only endured — we’ve thrived.
