Last year I was given the wonderful opportunity to take a river cruise on the AMA Waterways! I whole heatedly believe that River Cruising is single handed one of the best ways to see Europe in a short amount of time!  Last fall we cruised after Thanksgiving for the Christmas Market Cruise.

There is no easy way to describe the smells of the markets or the taste of the food - you will just have to try that for yourself! But I can guarantee it will be one of the most magical vacations you ever take.

The staff was devoted to service, the food was incredible and the ship was beautiful. With my personal travel style, I enjoy more boutique and smaller crowd settings. The people that I met on my river cruise were some of the most fascinating well travelled people i have ever encountered, I really enjoyed getting to know everyone in the small ship atmosphere.
