I'm Kim North and I'm located in Kansas City, Missouri! Surprisingly enough, I got my start in this industry by accident! What a beautiful accident it's been, though.
I began my career in travel in 2011 as a youngin' fresh out of college. I had been working as a weekend receptionist for Cruise Holidays for about 9 months and when no job offers for the degree I obtained came rolling in, I wrote a letter to our owners asking for full time employment. The position created for me caused me to discover a passion for travel I never knew I had.
While at Cruise Holidays I have worked in our group department and I have also assisted two established and knowledgeable travel counselors. Both of those positions have given me the knowledge and the confidence to branch out and become a travel counselor myself.
I have learned so much over the years and have had the opportunity to travel to some amazing places, scratching experiences off my bucket list. To date, some of my favorite destinations include Mexico, Antigua, the Netherlands, Germany, and Prague!
It’s been said that of all the books in the world, the best stories are often found between the pages of a passport. I think that’s spot on. My goal as your travel counselor is to be your biggest advocate and help to create those incredible stories you’ll remember for a lifetime.
